Belle Flanegan (she/her) is a director and choreographer based in NYC. Originally from San Diego, California, Belle has been on an exploration of movement-based storytelling and one-person narratives. Slack Off marks her first production based in NYC, but her previous directing credits include don’t feed the bear (Hollywood Fringe), The Fundamentals (University of California, Irvine), The Dumb Waiter (University of California, Irvine), and Walking Shadows (Hollywood Fringe). Belle resides in the Lower East Side with her favorite people. She cannot wait to continue making art in this incredible city.

Clara livingston
Clara Livingston is a theater director, producer, and administrator based in Brooklyn, NY. They like to make new plays by / with / about and for women and queer people. They’ve been part of work at The Tank, Brooklyn Art Haus, Loading Dock Theater, The Brick, Theater Row, among others. They’re interested in supporting and developing new work at all stages (or having fun with an old play). Clara graduated from Emerson College in 2023 and is currently the Office Manager at The Tank NYC.

Elias husiak
ELIAS HUSIAK is a NYC born-and-raised performer, director and co-founder of the Drama Desk Award winning theater venue, East Village Basement. He's performed all around NYC including The Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center (National Queer Theatre), BAM Fisher, Pregones/PRTT (R.Evolucion Latina), National Sawdust (Beth Morrison Projects) and New World Stages. Ian James Booth is a director, writer performer, and creative currently based in New York City. Recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Drama and a minor in Global Sustainability they are excited to pursue their passion for storytelling, community-building, and sustainablity within creative spaces. They have recently assistant directed the world premiere of “Masala Dabba” by Wendy Graf at the International City Theatre and “Birdsong” an original work of song and storytelling at UC Irvine.

Jackson Bradshaw
Jackson Bradshaw (they) is a director with a passion for new works development. Jackson is the Artistic Director for A La Carte Writers Workshop. They also are also a director and company member for Playground-NY. Some of Jackson’s favorite directing projects include: People Don’t Shoot Up Schools in 1930 by Annie Brown (Theatre Row,) The Human Experiment by Kirsten Freimann (The Vino Theatre,) The Big Boy City by Bram Hartman (Chain Theatre,) and more. Jackson is an alumni of the Dobbins Conservatory. Jackson is a firm believer that theatre is a collaborative process and loves building worlds, connections, and community.

Catalina Cofone polack
Catalina Cofone Polack is a Brooklyn-based Argentinian-Italian-American multi-hyphenate award-winning artist working in performance, film, archive, and ritual. Her artwork explores the intertwined possibilities of theatrical devices and other artistic disciplines through ensemble-driven processes. She holds an MFA in Contemporary Theater and Performance from The New School and has developed and presented work at Lincoln Center, Exponential Festival, and Bank Street Theatre. Catalina is a Vinnette Justine Carroll Award recipient and a teaching artist with Pink Fang and Leap NYC.

Zoë parrish
Zoë Parrish is a NYC-based artist, and a graduate from the Institute for American Musical Theatre. She most recently co-wrote and co-directed a play called Steps alongside her dear friend, Olivia Mathis. Her other work includes directing Into the Woods, A Boy's Play, and The Lightning Thief. She was also recently seen as Dear One/Astris in Echo at the New York Theatre Festival. She has a huge passion for new works, and developing theatre that breaks the mold!

Gerrel Marquez
Gerrel is a recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a B.F.A in Music Theater. He co-founded Metro Theatre Company at UCI and directed their inaugural production of Putnam County Spelling Bee. Later in university, Gerrel directed Avenue Q through Metro and mentored directing students through the Intern program within the Company. They have also worked on several smaller projects, including an abridged Great Comet of 1812, Laramie Project, and a short film, Blink. With experience directing & acting, he is very excited to get started here in the city.

olivia mathis
Olivia Mathis is an NYC singer, actor, writer, director, and a graduate of the Institute for American Musical Theatre. Recent acting credits include Noel (Sprit of Christmas), and industry workshops of Man in a Raggedy Bathrobe (Therapist/Judge), and Senior Class (Ensemble). Recent directing/writing credits include the first two workshops of Steps: A New Play, which she cowrote and codirected with Zoë Parrish. She also just released her first single, Big Dipper, on all major streaming platforms!
